Midwest Territory Sales Coordinator

SUMMARY

Responsible for coordinating and managing sales projects to meet customer expectations and satisfaction.  Support the Midwest Territory on sales related projects as directed.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with cost estimators, drafters, production managers to plan, organize and direct activities concerned with product delivery.
  • Complete takeoffs and sales estimates.
  • Initiate and maintain as liaison to customer within 24 hours of receipt of a new order by means of personal phone call and confirmation emails to identify self as the primary contact for any and all correspondence related to the project.
  • Assist with follow up on sales leads.
  • Completes all necessary paperwork for releasing project to production team within 24 hours of receiving complete information.
  • Utilize company CRM program to the fullest extent, maintaining all contact information updates on job status and job follow up documentation.
  • Investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures.
  • Represent company with clear, accurate and professional correspondence related to projects.
  • Coordinate and obtain all required project documents and customer approvals and ascertain they are in order and compliant with job requirements, contract requirements and company policy.
  • Keep customers updated on project scheduling, progress, status and delivery.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelors degree from a four-year college or university or an Associates degree plus three years experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Previous experience in the construction industry is preferred as well as familiarity with reading plans and specifications.
