| This airfoil design provides a sleek appearance while reflecting the sun's rays. The blades are angled to block direct sunlight and provide maximum protection throughout the day. It is mounted horizontally and cantilevered out from the building. Suggested Specifications for Sun Screens
Furnish and install model [specify] aluminum sun screens where indicated on drawings as manufactured by Industrial Louvers, Inc., Delano, MN. Blades shall be fabricated from [specify gauge] extruded aluminum. Frames shall be fabricated from [specify gauge] extruded aluminum. Overhang dimension may not exceed 48 inches without suspension brackets. (Maximum overhang dimension shall be 79 inches. The opposing width dimension may be up to 216 inches.) Grilles shall be factory finished in a Kynar® 500/Hylar™ 5000 coating selected from the ILI color chart. |
