Louvered penthouses are ruggedly constructed units that allow for the most efficient movement of air over rooftop openings. An extra performance louver blade design is standard, but any of the drainable, stationary or adjustable louvers found in this web site can be used for a rooftop opening. Standard construction consists of continuous louver blades on all four sides, with mitered and welded corners. Mullions and box corners are also available. The roof is mechanically attached for easy access to the interior. Roof insulation and sound-absorbing material can be incorporated into the design.
